The Firm recently represented UBS Securities LLC as sales agent in an equity distribution program for Massey Energy Company.

Under the program, Massey Energy Company may sell up to 5,000,000 shares of its common stock. Massey Energy is using the net proceeds from the program for general corporate purposes. Massey Energy’s common stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “MEE”.

Massey Energy Company, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, with operations in West Virginia, Kentucky and Virginia, is the fourth largest coal producer by revenue in the United States.
