Firm Represents Underwriters in Common Stock Offering by Forest Oil

The Firm represented Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC as underwriters in connection with a registered public offering by Forest Oil Corporation of 14,375,000 shares of common stock, including shares issued upon exercise of the underwriters’ over-allotment option. Forest Oil used the net proceeds from the offering, approximately $256 million, to reduce borrowings under its bank credit facilities.
The Firm represented the initial purchasers in a $600 million high yield bond offering for Forest Oil earlier this year, and has been involved in financing transactions for the Company in prior years as well.
