Simpson Thacher Represents NXP Semiconductors in its Private Debt Exchange Offers

Simpson Thacher represents NXP Semiconductors, the independent semiconductor company founded by Philips, in connection with its private debt exchange offers. The exchange offers, which commenced on March 3, 2009, expired on March 30, 2009 and were settled on April 2, 2009. As a result of the exchange offers, NXP Semiconductors’ overall indebtedness was reduced by approximately $465 million.
