On September 23, 2008, Simpson Thacher's Quarterly Women's Lunch featured Kavita N. Ramdas, the President and CEO of the Global Fund for Women, an international network of women and men that advocates for and defends women's human rights by making grants to support women's groups around the world. Attendees included Simpson alumnae and over 100 women attorneys.
