Hank Gutman and Noah Leibowitz to Speak at Bloomberg Intellectual Property Law Symposium

 Simpson Thacher litigation partner and Chair of the Firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group, Hank Gutman, together with associate Noah M. Leibowitz, will speak at Bloomberg's Intellectual Property Law Symposium entitled "Hot Issues in Patent Law: Trolls, Reform and Evolving Caselaw." The program will be held on October 22, 2008 at Bloomberg's New York City headquarters and will examine recent cases and key issues in patent reform, including the aftermath of the Supreme Court's decision in eBay v. MercExchange, willful infringement in the wake of Seagate and the changing scope of patentable subject matter. Mr. Gutman will serve as the chair of the symposium and as moderator; Mr. Leibowitz will speak on a number of the panels.
