Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in $1.2 Billion Notes Offering by Halliburton Company

The Firm represented the underwriters, led by Citi, HSBC and RBS Greenwich Capital, as joint book-running managers, in connection with an offering by Halliburton Company of $400 million aggregate principal amount of 5.90% notes due 2018 and $800 million aggregate principal amount of 6.70% notes due 2038.

Halliburton is one of the world’s largest oilfield services companies and provides a comprehensive range of discrete and integrated products and services for the exploration, development and production of oil and gas to major oil and gas companies throughout the world.
