On September 9, 2008, Simpson Thacher hosted a breakfast co-sponsored by the Kate Stoneman Project (KSP) and 85 Broads entitled "Strategic Philanthropy: Maximizing Your Investment." The event featured a conversation with Kathy LeMay, founder, president and CEO of Raising Change, which provides fundraising and philanthropy training to organizations and individuals; and Holly Isdale, Managing Director in Lehman Brothers' Asset Management Group and former head of Goldman Sachs' Strategic Wealth Advisory Team.
The Kate Stoneman Project is a group formed by the women partners of 10 leading law firms in New York City and seeks to promote the advancement of women in the legal profession and women's leadership in professional, civic, educational and charitable organizations.
