On August 15, the Firm hosted a panel discussion entitled "A Day in the Life of a Corporate Attorney" and a reception for a group of students participating in the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund's LAWbound program. The 23 students from 15 colleges who participated in this year's program have expressed interest in pursuing a career in law. Simpson Thacher partners Alvin Brown and Victoria Bjorklund addressed the students. Associates Juan A. Arteaga, Berta A. Matos, Yaneris M. Rosa and Eric Sarabia gave the students an overview of their work as associates in the Firm’s Litigation, Corporate and Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits practice areas.
