Simpson Thacher litigation partners Peter Bresnan, Jim Kreissman, George Newcombe, and Seth Ribner will participate in a Directors Roundtable discussion at the Jonathan Club in Los Angeles on April 29, 2008. The program, entitled "Defending Corporations, Financial Institutions and Real Estate from Liability to Shareholders, Government and Customers," will address how to defend against shareholder and consumer class actions, corporation vs. corporation complex contract disputes, government civil and criminal enforcement, and challenges to foreclosures. Other speakers on the panel include Michael Coyne, Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel for JPMorgan Chase & Co-head of Litigation for the Investment Bank, and Brad Massam and Joseph Rosenbaum, Partners at Ernst & Young.
