STB Hosts the Hispanic National Bar Association's Moot Court Competition

STB hosted the first day of the Hispanic National Bar Association's (HNBA) Moot Court Competition on Thursday, March 13th. The Moot Court Competition is part of the HNBA's Mid-Year Conference, which is being held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in New York City from March 13-15. Twenty-four teams of students representing 21 law schools participated in the Moot Court Competition. Roy Reardon, Jaime Mercado and Natalia Martín welcomed the students during an introductory lunch. STB associates Helena Almeida, Juan Arteaga and Eric Sarabia served as members of the planning committee for the conference. In addition, STB associates Scott Bulcao, Brijesh Dave, Gabrielle Kelleher, Seth Kruglak, Carlos Lopez, Alexis Lorenzo, Dan Paisley, Mark Villaverde and Michael Ybarra volunteered to grade the moot court teams' briefs and/or oral arguments.
