Simpson Thacher has successfully represented DoubleClick Inc. and its majority stockholder Hellman & Friedman in closing the sale of DoubleClick to Google Inc. for $3.1 billion in cash, including obtaining antitrust clearance for the transaction in proceedings before the Federal Trade Commission and Phase II proceedings before the European Commission.
