Simpson Thacher represented Oaktree Capital Management in the establishment of the Oaktree Loan Funds consisting of both leveraged and unleveraged funds. The funds raised approximately $3.9 Billion (representing more than $7.2 Billion in total buying power) and will primarily make investments in senior debt securities and obligations of domestic issuers having terms typically associated with senior bank loans.
