Simpson Thacher corporate partner Kathryn King Sudol recently joined National Women’s Law Center’s (“NWLC”) Leadership 35 advisory committee. Leadership 35 is an invitational, high-level advisory committee of talented leaders designed to provide NWLC with advice and support on critical issues that affect women and their families. NWLC is a non-profit organization that has been working since 1972 to expand the possibilities for women and their families at work, in school, and in virtually every aspect of their lives by getting new laws on the books and enforced, litigating ground-breaking cases in state and federal courts including the Supreme Court of the United States, and educating the public about ways to make the law and public policies work for women and their families. Richard L. Beattie, Chairman of Simpson Thacher, serves on NWLC's Board of Directors.
