Simpson Thacher recently represented the underwriters, led by Wachovia and JPMorgan, in connection with the public offering of 11,500,000 common shares (including the over-allotment option, which was fully exercised concurrently with closing) by Diana Shipping Inc., for a total price to public of approximately $288 million. Diana Shipping Inc.'s common shares are listed on the NYSE under the symbol “DSX”.
