Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters in connection with the initial public offering of common stock of Polypore International, Inc., which closed on July 3, 2007. J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. acted as the sole book running manager for the offering. Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., Robert W. Baird & Co. Incorporated and William Blair & Company, L.L.C. acted as co-managers for the offering. Polypore’s shares are now listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “PPO”.
