The Yale Latino Law Students Association honored Natalia Martín, Simpson Thacher's Director of Legal Personnel and Professional Development, with their Class of 2007 award. Dean Harold Koh announced the award on Friday, April 13th, remarking on Natalia's 14 years as the Associate Dean of Students in which she served Yale Law School with passion, intelligence, and compassion. The award was presented by Rosa Pizzi, a member of the class of 2007, who will join Simpson Thacher as a permanent associate this fall. In her comments, Rosa noted that her class was the last one to enter the school while Natalia was Dean and the last to benefit from her leadership and guidance. Rosa observed that Natalia served as a beacon of light for all minority students and served an invaluable role in promoting diversity initiatives at the law school.
