The Firm recently represented Citigroup and HSBC in connection with an offering of $200 million of 7.375% Bonds due 2036 by CAP S.A. The offering, which was made in reliance upon Rule 144A and Regulation S, constituted CAP’s first financing in the international capital markets outside Chile.
CAP is a Chilean integrated ferrous metals company, which conducts iron ore mining and steel production operations. CAP exports iron ore products, primarily to Asia, and it supplies steel products principally to the domestic market in Chile.
