The firm represented KSL Capital in connection with the formation of KSL Capital Partners II, L.P., a new fund with approximately $1.1 billion of capital commitments. KSL Capital is a private equity firm that makes investments in travel and leisure businesses, including in the hospitality, recreation, club, real estate and travel services sectors. The fund is KSL Capital's first private equity fund. Previously, the principals of KSL Capital managed a KKR portfolio company that owned interests in resort properties including La Quinta, La Costa, Grand Wailea, Doral, Arizona Biltmore and Hotel del Coronado.
