Simpson Thacher recently represented Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and UBS Securities, as initial purchasers of $2.1 billion of Convertible Senior Notes of Symantec Corporation. Symantec entered into concurrent share repurchase and convertible bond hedge and warrant transactions in order to lessen the dilutive effect of issuing the convertible bonds.
