Simpson Thacher’s Victoria Bjorklund, head of the Firm’s Exempt Organizations practice, and Mildred Kalik, head of Personal Planning practice, will both speak at the upcoming ALI-ABA course of study, "Charitable Giving Techniques". This course provides an extensive study of lifetime and testamentary charitable giving techniques for advisors of individual donors and charitable clients as well as planned giving officers and in-house attorneys of organizations with planned giving programs.
Ms. Kalik is one of the planning chairs for this program. Ms. Bjorklund will participate as a speaker on “Private Foundations, Donor-Advised Funds, and Supporting Organizations” at 11:10 a.m. on Thursday, June 8th.
