Simpson Thacher recently represented Dresser-Rand Group Inc. (“Dresser-Rand") and its selling stockholder, an affiliate of First Reserve Corporation, in Dresser-Rand's secondary offering. The transaction raised approximately $653 million in proceeds.
Dresser-Rand is among the largest suppliers of rotating equipment solutions to the worldwide oil, gas, petrochemical, and process industries. Dresser-Rand operates manufacturing facilities in the United States, France, Germany, Norway, India, and Brazil, and maintains a network of 24 service and support centers covering 140 countries.
