At its inaugural dinner, The City Bar Justice Center awarded Simpson Thacher & Bartlett its Law Firm Pro Bono Award. The gala was held on April 4th at the New York City Bar Association. The award recognizes the firm for championing such causes as the Justice Center's Refugee Assistance Project, the Vance Center for International Justice Initiatives and the decade-long representation of the Campaign for Fiscal Equity in its effort to provide fair public education funding for New York City's schoolchildren.
