Pete Ruegger, Chairman of Simpson Thacher's Executive Committee, will speak as a panelist at the University of Virginia Law School Business Advisory Council's annual conference focusing on mergers and acquisitions, on Friday, September 23, 2005 at the Law School. The Business Advisory Council (BAC) was formed in 1995 bringing together alumni in business, finance, and corporate practice, and currently numbers almost 150 general counsel, executives, and business lawyers. Each fall, members of the BAC are invited to Charlottesville for a substantive program on recent developments in private industry, public policy, and business.
