Corporate Partner Stephan Feder and Corporate Associate Erik Hepler spoke on May 18th at the Bear Stearns Fourteenth Annual Global Credit Conference, held at the Waldorf Astoria in New York. Their presentation focused on the differences between second lien financings and other popular forms of intercreditor arrangements, such as subordination, with a particular emphasis on the benefits of collateral security (both in and outside of a bankruptcy of the issuer), intercreditor terms and a perspective on second lien financing from the issuer, the bondholders and the senior lender. The program included more than 200 company presentations by high yield, high grade and emerging markets debt issuers.
