Simpson Thacher Awarded US Law Firm of the Year by Chambers and Partners

A panel of judges that included in-house counsel at corporations based in the major jurisdictions around the world has named Simpson Thacher "US Law Firm of the Year." After months of research, the panel reached their decision by assessing each firm from the client's point of view.
The result was announced at the 2004 Awards ceremony held on May 6th by Chambers & Partners, the UK publishing house. Simpson Thacher was also awarded Corporate / M&A Law Firm of the Year and was named runner-up for Asia Law Firm of the Year and US Banking & Capital Markets Law Firm of the Year.
Simpson Thacher had been short-listed for top US firm in six categories: Antitrust, Banking & Capital Markets, Corporate / M&A, Private Equity, Litigation and the highest honor, US Law Firm of the Year.
