At the Kids In Need of Defense (KIND) annual gala, Coming Together for Children Alone, Simpson Thacher was honored with the 2022 Allegiance Award, bestowed upon the Firm as a longstanding partner dedicated to caring for and protecting the well-being and rights of immigrant and refugee children. The event took place on October 17 at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. To date the Firm has represented almost 50 children facing deportation through numerous immigration proceedings.
