Partner Daniel Lloyd was profiled in Law360 as a “Rising Star” in Fund Formation for 2021. He was recognized for his work advising a number of powerhouse private equity firms on the formation of some of their most significant funds over the past year. When discussing why he is a funds attorney, Daniel noted the relationships that you get to form with clients over the duration of the fundraise as a highlight. He further said, “It's an area of law that's incredibly complex and technical, but at the same time there's a huge transactional element with funds during the fundraising process—you can be negotiating with upwards of hundreds of LPs at one time, so I really like that—it's the best of both worlds, really in terms of that dynamic.”
