Simpson Thacher Pro Bono Counsel Harlene Katzman talked to Law360 about the launch of Blackstone’s formal Pro Bono Program. The article, titled “Blackstone Forges New Ground With Pro Bono Launch,” discusses Blackstone’s motivation for launching the Program and its partnership with Simpson Thacher in doing so. The article highlights two pro bono projects, the small business clinic and an education advocacy project, undertaken jointly by Blackstone volunteers and Simpson Thacher lawyers working in teams. “Working together like this has only deepened their respect for each other and strengthened those relationships,” Harlene said.
