Litigation Partner Jeff Knox was profiled by Law360 as a 2021 White Collar “MVP.” The article noted Jeff’s work on high-stakes investigations and enforcement matters, including the successful resolution of matters brought by the Department of Justice and Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Jeff noted that among his accomplishments this year, he is grateful that he and the Firm were able to continue to deliver results for clients on their originally projected timetables, despite a global pandemic that threatened to up-end multi-jurisdictional investigations that often require cross-border travel. With respect to challenges, Jeff cited the uncertainties resulting from a turnover in administrations, which produces changes in enforcement agency leadership and can force a reset in discussions. Jeff was complimentary of the prosecutors and supervisors he has faced during the current turnover, observing that many of have retained their positions and, where there has been turnover, “the new decision makers are hitting the ground running and seem to be dealing with us and our clients fairly and professionally.”
