Simpson Thacher advised CLSA Capital Partners, the asset management arm of CLSA, in connection with Sunrise Capital’s fifth Japan buyout fund, Sunrise Capital V (“Sunrise V”), which held its final close on May 31, 2024. Sunrise V, which was oversubscribed, reached their hard cap of $500 million after five months in the market.
