Stone Point Capital Makes Strategic Investment in Businessolver

Simpson Thacher represented funds managed by Stone Point Capital LLC in connection with its majority investment in Businessolver. Stone Point is joining existing investors Warburg Pincus and JMI Equity.

Businessolver is a leader in SaaS-based benefits technology and services. The company creates client programs that maximize benefits program investment, minimize risk exposure, and engage employees with easy-to-use solutions and communication tools to assist them in making wise and cost-efficient benefits selections.

Stone Point is an investment firm based in Greenwich, Connecticut with more than $25 billion of assets under management. Stone Point targets investments in companies in the global financial services industry and related sectors. The firm invests in a number of alternative asset classes, including private equity through its flagship Trident Funds.
