On April 4, Exempt Organizations Counsel Jennifer Franklin and Associate Kevin Roe led the first in a series of four “Nonprofit Boot Camp” Workshops for new nonprofit organizations sponsored by New York Lawyers for the Public Interest and the Foundation Center. The topic of the Workshop was legal considerations for new nonprofits, and included a discussion of legal structures and the formation process for a new nonprofit organization, as well as an overview of post-formation issues.
