Kess and Associates Yafit Cohn and Linda Nyberg co-authored an article in the August/September 2015 edition of Pratt’s Privacy & Cybersecurity Law Report titled “Department of Justice Issues Guidance on Best Practices for Cybersecurity Preparedness.” The article discusses the recently issued “Best Practices for Victim Response and Reporting of Cyber Incidents” which is the first published guidance on cybersecurity from the Department of Justice. The DOJ’s publication lays out the steps that companies should take before and after a data breach or other cybersecurity incident occurs.
