“Attractive Advertising” Suits Held Judicially Unappealing
In a series of decisions especially significant for companies faced with suits by putative classes of "concerned citizens" who challenge advertising and marketing-related conduct, four appellate courts have upheld the dismissal of claims by parents of minor children seeking to hold alcohol beverage advertising responsible for illegal underage drinking.
