06.11.19

Litigation Partners Nick Goldin and Mark Stein co-authored a chapter in the first edition of Global Investigations Review’s The Guide to Monitorships. Written by specialists with first-hand experience of working with or as monitors, the guide addresses all the key issues involving monitorships and how they work in practice. Nick and Mark co-authored the chapter titled “The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act,” which focuses on the role of an independent compliance monitor appointed as part of an FCPA settlement. The chapter offers a brief overview of trends in FCPA enforcement actions, a discussion of the distinguishing features of FCPA monitorships, and approaches for conducting efficient and successful monitorships.
