Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Partner Jamin Koslowe was featured in a Reuters Practical Law The Journal Q&A about his legal career and developments impacting the practice of law in the executive compensation and employee benefits space. Jamin explained that, among his achievements, drafting a comment letter to the Treasury Department on behalf of the New York City Bar Association Committee on Employee Benefits when Section 409A of the Internal Revenue Code was first enacted in 2004, “helped me become one of the firm’s go-to experts on nonqualified deferred compensation issues.” He also emphasized the importance of relationships in his work, both with associates and clients, noting that “I never take clients or associates for granted. Instead, I make an effort to maintain regular contact. It does not take much time for me to reach out for a check-in call or quick lunch to catch up on their concerns, understand issues they are dealing with, and explore how I might be able to help.”
