Simpson Thacher teams and Partners were shortlisted in multiple categories by The American Lawyer as part of its 2024 Industry Awards. The awards honor the most impressive work being done across the legal industry, as well as the lawyers and law firms behind it.
The Firm was shortlisted for “Corporate Practice of the Year” across three categories, including the overall “General” category as well as the specialty “Pharma and Health Care” and “Technology and Telecom” divisions. Additionally, Co-Head of the Firm’s Private Equity Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Elizabeth Cooper and Funds Partner Jonathan Karen were both named finalists for “Corporate Attorney of the Year,” with Elizabeth shortlisted in the “Private Equity and M&A” category and Jonathan in the “Capital and Solutions – Funds” category.
