Simpson Thacher represented JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., in its capacity as Administrative Agent under a prepetition credit facility of HighPoint Resources Corporation (collectively with its subsidiaries, “HighPoint”), in connection with HighPoint’s chapter 11 restructuring, which consummated a merger with Bonanza Creek Energy, Inc., pursuant to a plan of reorganization on April 1, 2021.
The plan of reorganization provided the lenders under the HighPoint credit facility with payment in full or novations of all outstanding obligations on the effective date.
