Simpson Thacher Represents JPMorgan in Jonah Energy’s Second Amended and Restated Credit Facility

Simpson Thacher represented JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., as Administrative Agent, in connection with Jonah Energy LLC’s $750 million second amended and restated reserve-based revolving credit facility and related balance sheet restructuring transactions, allowing Jonah Energy to reduce its overall debt balance by approximately $580 million. Under the New Credit Facility, Jonah Energy has an initial borrowing base of $750 million.

Jonah Energy is an oil and gas exploration and development company operating in the Jonah and Pinedale Fields in Sublette County, Wyoming. The Company is one of the largest privately-held natural gas producers in the U.S., and focuses on producing natural gas in an environmentally responsible manner.
