Litigation Partner Brooke Cucinella will participate in the Office of the Appellate Defender’s (OAD) 27th annual Gala & Mock Supreme Court Argument on October 5th. Brooke will serve as a justice on the panel for a mock argument by awardees Roberta Kaplan (Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP) and Sharon Nelles (Sullivan & Cromwell LLP) on whether qualified immunity should be narrowed or abolished. Following the mock hearing, the OAD is hosting a discussion about the organization’s work, qualified immunity and COVID-19 in prisons.
