Partner Steven Klar was profiled in Law360 as a “Rising Star” in Fund Formation for 2020. Steven was recognized for his role advising Blackstone on significant fundraisings as well as on the fund-related aspects of multiple high-profile acquisitions. Touching on why he became a fund formation attorney, Steven noted that he was drawn to the opportunity to develop long-term working relationships with clients. “You have to be very ingrained in their DNA,” Steven said, adding “[y]ou’re looked at almost as their in-house lawyer, their finance team; they all know you as their go-to person."
