Rajib Chanda Quoted in Ignites on SEC’s Proposed Modifications to Shareholder Reports and Disclosures

Corporate Partner Rajib Chanda was quoted in an Ignites article titled, “SEC Proposes Prospectus and Fund Doc Reforms.” The article analyzed the SEC’s recently proposed rule and amendments which would provide significant modifications to the mutual fund and exchange-traded fund disclosure framework to simplify the fund information that retail investors receive. When discussing these proposed updates, Rajib said, “This is a substantial overhaul of the way investors get information about their funds.” Rajib further noted that these proposals show that the SEC acknowledges that fund communications should be updated for a digital audience.
