Simpson Thacher recently represented Airbnb, Inc. (“Airbnb”) in connection with a $1 billion syndicated term loan from institutional investors and a $1 billion investment in Airbnb by Silver Lake and Sixth Street Partners, which is comprised of a combination of equity and debt. The investment and term loan will support Airbnb’s ongoing long-term investments in support of its community of hosts.
Airbnb is a home rental company that serves as a marketplace connecting hosts who provide accommodations and experiences to guests in over 220 countries and regions.
