Aramark Contributes to Launch of “NYC Healthcare Heroes”

Simpson Thacher represented Aramark in the organization of “NYC Healthcare Heroes,” launched alongside The Debra and Leon Black Family. “NYC Healthcare Heroes” is a citywide philanthropic program to support the heroic efforts of the New York City healthcare professionals on the front lines combatting the COVID-19 pandemic. The program was launched in partnership with the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, The Robin Hood Foundation and the American Red Cross.
The program aims to provide at least 300,000 packages of shelf-stable food, household cleaning and personal care products, as well as over-the-counter medicine to staff at hospitals across the five boroughs through June.
Aramark, the world’s largest U.S.-based provider of food, facilities and uniforms, will be donating labor to provide procurement, assembly and delivery services.
