Simpson Thacher represented American Construction Source LLC, a portfolio company of Angeles Equity Partners, LLC and Clearlake Capital Group, L.P., in connection with its acquisition of Homewood Holdings, LLC. The transaction closed in February 2020. Financial terms were not disclosed.
American Construction Source (ACS) is a leading national building materials distribution platform for custom home builders and repair and remodel contractors. The addition of Homewood expands ACS’s lumber and building materials distribution and specialty installation services in the Western U.S. market. Homewood will continue to operate under its existing local brand names of Homewood Lumber, Evergreen Lumber, Eagle Creek Siding, Custom Choice Door and The Door Mill.
The Simpson Thacher team included Greg Klein, Daniel Switts and Claire Hutar (M&A); Ashlie Lawton (Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits); and Steve DeLott (Insurance).
