Simpson Thacher is representing a global investor consortium led by funds managed by Stone Point Capital and Further Global in connection with the proposed acquisition of Duff & Phelps for $4.2 billion. The equity sellers include the Permira funds and the Duff & Phelps management team, which will continue to hold a significant stake in the company as part of the consortium. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2020.
