Corporate Partner Robert Lee was profiled in Law360 as a “Rising Star” in Fund Formation for 2019. He was recognized for advising EQT Partners on several multibillion-dollar transactions, including a €9 billion infrastructure fund that closed within six months of its launch. When describing why he enjoys fund formation work, Robert notes that he finds the work intellectually rigorous, where the transactional aspect of the work is balanced by a technical aspect. Though funds work also requires navigating several competing interests, "there's scope to be innovative, as well," he said, pointing out that there isn’t tremendous amount of codified British funds laws. "There's a lot of flexibility around the terms you set and how you agree to those terms," he said.
