Simpson Thacher’s Securities Litigation Practice and Insurance Litigation Practice both received the National Practice Group of the Year Award at Euromoney’s Benchmark Litigation 2018 Awards Dinner. This is the sixth consecutive year the Firm received the Insurance Firm of the Year Award.
In addition, the Firm was shortlisted again for the New York State Firm Award. Litigation Partner Jon Youngwood, recipient of the Securities Lawyer of the Year in 2017, was shortlisted this year for Securities. Litigation Partner Mary Beth Forshaw was shortlisted again for the Insurance Lawyer of the Year, which she won in 2016. Of Counsel Tom Rice was shortlisted for the General Commercial Lawyer of the Year.
