The Firm is representing Inversiones Piuranas S.A., an affiliate of Peruvian conglomerate Corporacion Grupo Romero, in connection with a stock purchase agreement with affiliates of Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) to acquire its oilseeds operations in Bolivia, including ADM’s processing facility in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, grain silos and ADM’s Bolivian distribution business. The transaction, which remains subject to closing conditions including antitrust approval, is expected to close in the first half of 2018.
