Simpson Thacher is representing Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. in connection with its investment in Focus Financial Partners, LLC (“Focus”). An investor group led by Stone Point Capital and KKR will acquire a majority stake in the company, which values Focus at approximately $2 billion. The closing of the transaction is subject to customary approvals and is expected in mid-2017.
